Seaweed powder is obtained from kelp offal or floating sludge through dewatering, drying, grinding and packing etc. process. Nutrition analysis shows that it contains rich carbon hydrate, protein and minerals etc. Which thus can be additive for livestock and poultry feed. Study done by Sichuan province Livestock Husbandry and Veterinary Institute shows that the effect is remarkable.

(1) Additive for chicken feed
When 2% of feed gel is added to the chicken feed, can increase the laying rate, improve quality of eggs, increase iodine content in the eggs and make the yolk color look good. While broiler feeded with these feed can accelerate speed of gaining weight, save feed and increase economic benefit.

(2) Additive for cow feed
Cow feeded with feed gel additive can raise the yield of milk and the feeded amount of dry-feed. The reason is that the feed is supplemented with trace elements etc. effective constituent with improved palatability. Which also can increase the iodine content of milk and improve the milk fat rate.

(3) Additive for pig feed
