Floating head shell & tube graphite heat exchanger

Structure and features:

This type has simple and compact structure and small resistance. We can make large equipments of this type – heat transfer area is up to 1000 M2. Of course it’s abilities of pressure resistance and heat resistance are lower than the block type heat exchanger’s. So it is suitable for the situation of not strong and smaller vibarations. It is best to be used as a cooler (condenser).

There are two models for this type: model I and model II. The model I hasn’t the gas-liquid seperator while the model II has it. The condenser must adopt model II.

The graphite tubes is usually as diameter 32/22mm, we can also do 37/25 or 50/37mm.

Specifications:

Designed temperature: 120 deg. max (heater), -20 – 130 deg. (cooler)

Designed pressure: 2 bar max (process side), 3 bar max (service side).
